What is a sober living house?

Sober living homes offer a safe, understanding environment in which to live with other people in early recovery.

Days are less structured than in in-patient programs, and residents generally have to contribute to the effective running of the household, albeit in a structured way.

Residents have access to mental heathcare should they need it, as well as structure and a nurturing space in which to find their feet.

Is a sober living house right for me?

If you’ve just come out of an in-patient treatment program, and you’d like to reintegrate in a nurturing way, then a sober living house is for you.

These types of programs are also effective if you are feeling alone in your recovery, and are in need of understanding and support from others who are going through the same as you.
