What is an out-patient rehab center?

An outpatient program for substance abuse or a process addiction requires a commitment to a set number of hours a week, at an addiction treatment center.

These programs offer individual and group counselling sessions in the early morning or late afternoon/evening, so that clients can continue attending work or school.

Outpatient rehabs can also include addiction detox and other processes involved with addiction treatment.

Is an outpatient rehab right for me?

If you feel that your addiction has not totally taken over your life, but that you’d like to deal with it before it gets out of hand, then an outpatient program is a viable possibility.

This is also a good option for those who are unable to get enough time off work or school in order to attend an in-patient program.
